Imagine you’re waiting for a ride during the rush hour and all of a sudden, your smartphone runs out of juice. You can’t message or call anyone and you can’t even play Angry Birds to pass the time.
Now imagine not worrying about your gadget dying on you. Thanks to VitaminWater and ad agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky, bus shelters in several American cities are being equipped with USB charging stations so that you can continue calling on your iPhone, listen to music on your iPod or play games on your PSP. The bus shelters, located in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston form part of Vitamin Water’s ‘You’re Up’ campaign to underline the brand’s message that it’s formulated to provide a quick-boost when you are on the go.
This reminds me so much of Tropicana’s Natural Energy Billboard campaign.
